This deposit will hold your room for 2 weeks and begin the referencing process. This fee will be non-refundable should a situation arise where you provide misleading/ false information or fail a right to rent check.
This is taken at the start of the tenancy to cover any damages and defaults deemed to be caused by the tenant. This may be higher in certain application criteria are not met. The deposit is protected by the Tenant deposit protection scheme (DPS).
In the event that a tenant loses their key, they will be responsible for the cost of having a replacement key acquired. If the lost key leads to the locks being changed then the tenant will be responsible for the cost of the new lock in addition to the cost of hiring a locksmith. Spare keys can be provided promptly upon contacting the landlord.
You will be charged once a replacement tenant has been found and has moved in. This fee covers the cost of administration and marketing fees required to find a new tenant.
